Who we are

Torque Athletic Enhancement is a performance consulting and training platform built around one principle: Athletes perform best when mechanics, movement, and intent are aligned.

Founded by Coach Marlon A. McGill, Torque specializes in mechanic-first development with a focus on rotational power, efficient sequencing, and durability. Our work blends applied biomechanics, sport-specific skill training, and dynamic torque-based movement to help athletes move faster, throw cleaner, and last longer.

Torque Athletic Enhancement

Marlon McGill is the founder of Torque Athletic Enhancement, a sports performance program specializing in rotational biomechanics and position-specific athlete development. With nearly a decade of experience training youth and high school athletes, McGill focuses on developing quarterbacks and skill-position players through biomechanics-based training and performance analysis.

He developed the framework of RTB — Rotational Throwing Biomechanics, a framework designed to analyze and improve throwing mechanics by optimizing kinetic chain sequencing, rotational torque generation, and movement efficiency. McGill’s coaching integrates high-speed video biomechanics analysis with targeted performance training to help athletes increase throwing velocity, improve movement efficiency, and elevate on-field performance.

Prior to founding Torque Athletic Enhancement, McGill worked in scientific research and laboratory management at institutions including Weill Cornell Medicine, the VA Hospital system, and Columbia University. That research background anchors his data-driven, evidence-informed approach to athlete development.

Services offered through Torque Athletic Enhancement: • Quarterback mechanics training
• Rotational power development
• Biomechanics-based performance assessments
• Small-group football development camps
• Individualized athlete development programs

Objective: develop efficient movement mechanics, maximize athletic potential, and help athletes perform at a higher level on the field.
